I am a <em>final year<\/em> PhD student at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/cs.aalto.fi\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\">Aalto University<\/a> working under the guidance of Prof. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/site\/parinyachalermsook\/home\" target=\"_blank\">Parinya Chalermsook<\/a> and Prof. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.chrisbrzuska.de\/\">Chris Brzuska<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-ad0bff55-d943-4b85-b36f-6681f8fbd57d\">Previously, I completed my master&#8217;s from Computer Science and Automation, in the lush green campus of&nbsp;the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.iisc.ac.in\/\" target=\"_blank\">Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore<\/a>, where I was fortunate to have&nbsp;Prof.&nbsp;<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/drona.csa.iisc.ernet.in\/~arnabb\/\" target=\"_blank\">Arnab Bhattacharyya<\/a>&nbsp;as my adviser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\" id=\"block-23e32180-6c09-4541-9aef-f8fb5e4b812f\">My research interest is in <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/cstheory.stackexchange.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">theoretical computer science<\/a>, especially in Algorithms, Optimization, Complexity Theory and Foundations of Cryptography. My recent work focuses on designing approximation algorithms for clustering problems under fairness and diversity constraints.
